A Thoughtfully Designed Preschool Program
A play-based, child-led preschool program in Charlotte, NC, designed to support children ages 2–5 through daily outdoor learning, meaningful relationships, and a gentle, predictable rhythm.
At Piedmont Progressive Preschool, our program is thoughtfully designed to honor childhood as a time for exploration, connection, and growth. Rooted in play-based, child-led learning, our days balance freedom and structure—allowing children to feel confident, capable, and deeply engaged.
Children move through their days with a familiar rhythm that includes daily outdoor play, hands-on learning in warm classroom environments, and meaningful moments of connection with peers and teachers. As children grow, learning naturally expands to support social-emotional development, independence, and gentle kindergarten readiness—without losing the joy and curiosity at the heart of play.
Below, you’ll find an overview of our classes, schedule, and tuition information to help you determine the best fit for your family.
